Torquay Medical Centre

The Torquay Medical Centre on Geelong’s surf coast opened it’s doors to the public in late 2022. The building has a floor space of around 3000m2 and houses many tenancies, including a café, radiology, psychology, dental, optometry, allied health, medical, pathology, podiatry, early learning, pharmaceutical and physiotherapy. The new flooring included vinyl planks, carpet tiles, and sheet vinyl, all chosen for their durability and suitability for a commercial space like this. With the amount of direct sunlight coming into the building, which exposes the floor’s inconsistencies, the substrate required extensive preparation due to the state of the concrete slab. The floor needed screeding to ensure a level finish. The result is a new, modern, and inviting environment that improves the experience of patients and visitors alike.
